CWG 2018: Mary Kom won Gold Medal
CWG 2018 in Gold Coast Australia on Saturday Indian female boxer Mary Kom won Gold Medal in 45-48kg category. Mary Kom won India’s first gold medal in CWG 2018. She becoome the first Indian woman also to obtain gold in CWG.
India’s famous boxer MC Mary Kom defeated Northern Ireland’s Kristina O’Hara 5-0 to win the coveted gold in the 45-48kg category at the ongoing CWG. With this India managed its 43rd gold in CWG 2018.
Mary Kom is an Indian Female boxer from Manipur State. She is 35 years old. Mary is a five-time World Champion, an Olympic bronze medalist and has also won the Asian Championship five times. she is a very prestigious personality and an ideal for all female boxers in India. due to her tremendous efforts she is known as “Magnificent Mary” also. She is representing Indian Women power in all around the world.
Neeraj Chopra won Gold in Javelien CWG 2018:
Neeraj Chopra 20 years old from Haryana, India claim his first Gold medal in CWG 2018. He is from the Khandra Village in Panipath. Neeraj Chopra is the junior world champion in javelin throw. He is a record holder also. Neeraj crossed the 80m mark this season, threw his seasonal best of 86.47 to clinch the top position in the event and became the first Indian javelin thrower to win a gold medal at the CWG 2018. He had won the gold medal at the 2016 South Asian Games also.
