Date and some important notice for the Delhi University admission process of 2018-19
For cutting short the duration of the process of admission in Delhi University will begin early this year. Delhi University admission for undergraduate will begin from Tuesday that is on 15th of May. According to the official, the admission process will be through online. For registration process, the varsity will open the window.
The registration process for the courses of post-graduation will start from Friday that is on 18th of May. While the process of application for courses like M.Phil and PhD will begin from on 20th of May. Sunday is 20th of May. All this notice is according to the admission committee.
According to varsity the registration process for all eligible candidates will be online. It will also be online for quota. The Bulletin of Information regarding the admission details will release on the university’s website.
Two major courses for Delhi University admission
There are two major categories conducted under UG admission. The categories are entrance exam based courses and merit-based courses.
The University of Delhi will be declaring various cut off marks for merit-based courses. This cut-off mark is for the admission purpose of different courses of UG under the university affiliation.
Last year Delhi University conducted around 9 UG programmes. The programmes include Bachelor of Management Studies, BA (Hons), Humanities and social science etc. There were 11 cut-off lists for undergraduate courses for admission.
In this year according to an announcement in April by Delhi University, there will be new features. The new features will be on the online form for 2018-19. This will include in providing a single portal for the application of both merit-based and entrance-based undergraduate courses.
According to the press trust of India report
According to the report of the Press Trust of India, the university will capture automatically the marks for class 12. They will capture the marks by entering the registrations number. Students can also upload three best certificates received in sports.
Reports say that the online registration process will remain open after the releasing of CBSE class 12 results. This is for facilitating the students of Central Board.
The Delhi University admission process will extend from four to five months. The open day session admission will remain open from 21st May to 29th May except for Sunday.
