Irrfan Khan who is one of the top and mastered actors of Bollywood was in hospital for a long time. Irrfan Khan’s post on tweeter last week disclosing that he has been suffering from a rare disease had left the whole of Bollywood soon after Sridevi’s death. Every B’Town Actor is showing sympathy and concern for Irrfan Khan. Every single fan of Irrfan Khan is praying for his good health. But no-one was aware about his disease.
Everyone was talking about his disease and everyday so many rumors published related to the same. On Friday (16-03-2018) afternoon Irrfan Khan put a full stop on all rumors related to his disease and tweet that he is suffering from Neuroendocrine Tumour and he will be travelling out of India for his treatment.
Irrfan ’s Tweet: –
He tweets, “The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes.
As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research 😉 To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”
Even few days back Irrfan ’s wife requested media and fans to stop spreading rumors about Irrfan ’s disease and also tweeted, “My best friend and my partner is a ‘warrior’ he is fighting every obstacle with tremendous grace and beauty.” Echoing the positive thoughts of her husband, she added, “It wasn’t and isn’t and is not going to be easy but the hope ignited by the magnitude of family, friends and fans of Irrfan has made me only optimistic and almost sure of the victory.”
What is Neuroendocrine Tumour: –
Neuroendocrine tumors are neoplasms or an abnormal growth in tissues that arise from cells of the hormonal and nervous systems. Most commonly they occur in the intestine. Even if the tumor has advanced and metastasized, making curative surgery infeasible, surgery often has a role in neuroendocrine cancers for palliation of symptoms and possibly increased lifespan. According to a website if treatment fails, recovery from a neuroendocrine tumor is not always possible.
Although we wish Irrfan a good life and pray that he will get well soon.
